At Green Book Concierge, we are inspired by the spirit of the Negro Motorist Green Book, which was a guidebook published by postal worker turned travel agent Victor Hugo Green, that helped Black travelers navigate safe and welcoming places to stay, eat, and visit during the Jim Crow era. The Green Book was considered the Bible of Black travel which speaks to how critical it was for safety. The idea behind the “Green Book” was to give Black travelers information to keep them from running into difficulties, embarrassments and to make their trips more enjoyable.

I’m the founder and Chief Experience Officer of Green Book Concierge. I was born and raised in New Jersey but have spent the majority of my life engaging with worlds different from my own. I’m a nomadic soul and multi-linguist speaking English, Spanish, French, Haitian Creole, German and Hebrew. I’ve spent much of my life wandering, living and studying around the world. I founded Green Book Concierge as a one-stop shop for inspiration, insider tips, comprehensive travel planning and concierge services for people from all backgrounds. This business stemmed from a deep concern about the lack of diversity among travel advisors. Not only did no one look like me, no one had my perspective or lived experience in mind when planning my trips. It was clear that there weren't enough advisors who could curate my travel with my whole self in mind. Out of that frustration, Green Book Concierge was born. It is an honor and a privilege to serve diverse travelers, ensuring every experience I plan is welcoming, safe, luxurious and transformative.
